About Me

About
I am an 24 year old Mountain Bike racer from Haliburton Ontario Canada. I race in elite men as an ultra endurance racer specializing in 24 hour events. I am being coached by Andrew Watson of Andrew Watson Coaching, who is a former Norco Factory Team Racer. Andrew is a fabulous coach and has helped me improve as an athlete and is helping me achieve my goals. I have worked as a bike mechanic for 5 years and it has given me the knowledge and confidence to keep my race bike in top shape. Between work, training and racing it doesn't leave much time for too many other activities. But when I can I enjoy table tennis, martial arts, archery and graphic design. Archery is something that I use to improve my concentration and stability. I try to spend as much time as possible learning HTML to build even better websites. I also run my own handyman/renovation business called Fix it Nick which keeps me quite busy. I am also starting up a custom woodworking business called Natures Creations where I make natural pieces of furniture from the forest. If you are ever at an XC MTB event keep an eye out and cheer me on!
